By the ending of the summer course, between the dates 29th of June and 10th of July, a new record in BEST has been broken. The serie, starting with 2007 summer course, continued with Autumn07, Winter07, Spring08, and with 2008 summer course, BEST Istanbul was recorded in history as the LBG which organized most courses in a row.

Subject of the course, which organized as an engineering competition, was textile and fashion. Students from all over the Europe had a chance to show their talent and style. Participants, which also visited Efes Beer Factory and Ormo Textile Factory, enjoyed their weekend with swimming and having a boat trip.

BEST Istanbul is increasing both quality and quantity of events and becoming activer day by day in BEST.

LBG ISTANBUL proudly presents a brand new record in BEST history:

5 Consecutive Seasons with 5 Public Events

2007-2008 will probably be remembered as an unforgettable period for LBG Istanbul. By organising 5 public events in 5 consecutive seasons, LBG Istanbul has already added a success story to the pages of BEST history. The story started with a Summer Course in summer07 and continued with an Event on Education in autumn07 and then 2 more courses in winter07 and spring08 until we decided to have some rest to enjoy the success after organising an engineering competition BEC in summer08. It was definitely a tough period as we had to work a lot for providing high quality beside quantity but the great time we had with more than 100 different participants in our city and the big experience our new members gained were our rewards in the end. Thanks to all beloved members contributed to this success.

The last year will be remembered as the period where BEST Istanbul set a new record in BEST history by organising five public events in five consecutive seasons. The success story started in 2007 with a Summer Course and continued with an Event on Education in autumn07 followed by two more academic courses in winter07 and spring08 until we decided to have some rest and to enjoy the success after organising a BEST Engineering Competition in summer08. It was definitely a tough period as we had to work a lot to provide high quality apart from high quantity but we were rewarded in the end. We shared a great time with more than 100 different participants in our city and all our members gained valuable experiences and much motivation by contributing to this great success.
